When loneliness surrounds you,
And hopelessness invades,
Friends lie cheat and steal,
And turn their back on you,
And everything they know is right.
It’s so true when they say,
The ones who you love the most,
Hurt you the worst.
What do you do?
How do you go on?
In a world cursed with hatred,
Not a soul that cares.
You push the pain away,
But it comes back with a vengeance.
It hates you.
And so does everyone it seems.
How do you handle the hurt?
The pain?
The loneliness?
The tears?
The lies?
How do you handle the truth?
