Judgement
Others judge us in a way that’s bizarre
For who they think we are
Judgement
The colour of our eyes
They don’t empathize
The colour of our skin
Somehow can tell them when we’ll win
The colour of our hair
About that, they do care
The sound of our voices
They think it defines our choices
Judgement
Our height
Our weight
Judgement
They think that what they see defines us
They make such a fuss
Beauty isn’t skin deep
Physical features can’t tell if we’ll weep
They judge us by stereotypes
But no… there’s many different types
By everything they see on the outside
But by nothing they see on the inside
Judgement
What makes us hide our faces
As they judge us for our races
Judgement
Stop this unfair judgement
And lift this unfair punishment
That is called judgement

I think that judgement is something that everyone faces, every day. I have chosen to write about it because I feel that it is important that others see us for who we really are.
