The Raven
THE RAVEN: When the city has gone to sleep
And your shadow has left your side
There’s a raven in the air
Miles around can hear her cry
When the lights have all gone off
The Raven takes her flight
As she glides along the breeze
She tastes the cool night air
And suddenly hears rustling
A trembling, ripping sound
The Raven flies down to investigate
And her claws scrape the ground
A beast jumps out at her
He snarls growls and bites
The Raven shall no more
Take her midnight flights
