Tangy Notes in My Sherbet

The tangy notes in my sherbet,
With swirls of entangled drone.
Eat a scoop, go on, take it.
You ate too much, to the bone.
Swollen and sour turns buds of taste.
Ears bleeding in deaf unison.
It’s no longer stale, in fact: it’s gone.
Scraps left of the musical mission.
