Shadow Of The Stage
A play begins.
The star on stage.
Yet no one can see behind the curtains.
Rope moving, being pulled many times over.
Silent they move in the dark.
Switches flipped on and off.
Bags filled with sand, so the next scene can go on.
Spot lights ready to light up everyone else.
But not on those covered by the walls of fabric.
They are unseen by everyone else, even if they’re being looked for.
Now setting, moving, changing the places they will go.
Yet so quiet, like mice on the move.
No one will know notice you there.
A perfect sight that will never be seen, your shadow moving Freely.

People always look at the people on stage but what about the people behind it.
