The Starry Night By Vincent Van Gogh
All in still in the town below.
A few people stir in the houses
Having one more sip of tea before going to bed.
There is a misshapen hill
That is barren and lonely.
Climb to the top and see
The dance that is hidden by
The light of the houses of the town.
Winds swirl the clouds
Mixing them with the light of the stars
Making the clear blue canvas
Speckled with cloud white and rose yellow.
The star of the show
Bends with wind
Illuminating the mountains
In the south. It paints the
Freshly fallen snow
A pastel yellow. All-around
You hear nothing
Except for the wind blowing
The clouds. Yet all is still
And calm in the land below as
People stir in the houses
Having one more sip of tea before going to bed.
As they miss the dance of the night
