I gaze upon your silver brown eyes,
for we are connected together
I share with your smile
a soul through time.
I could wait an eternity for your kiss
your brown eyes a pulse through heaven’s
bond, connected to never vanish.
We melt into love.
I know we are separated
by the blue skies and oceans -
but I still remember your
soft mellifluous voice.
You changed me as a person
your warm welcoming heart
showed true love to
a stranded eighth-grade boy.
Thinking of you fills me with joy
your tender love will always
have a place in my heart.
