You ask why I am sad,
I ask why you are a man.
You say:
“…because God made me this way.”
“Exactly,” I say.
You tell me that I cannot be born sad,
And I say that you are right.
“Then why did you say God made you this way?” you ask.
“Yesterday I was happy,” I say.
“And today I am not.”
