Who am I?
Who am I? By : Connor Blais
Who am I?
Perhaps the answer lies in the cats eye,
running from myself,
wishing I was somebody else.
Commiting a sin too many times,
Costing me every last dime,
Life is like a rose,
It's pretty, but it pokes.
I catch myself at the wishing well,
Hoping one day to burn in hell,
My life goes around and around,
I gotta leave and get out of this town.
I'm alone in this world,
I got no one to call,
Watch me crumble,
watch me fall.
Day after day it's the same old thing,
I'm getting tired of living this way,
I wish you could show me the light,
I'm tired of this never ending fight.
Who am I?
Simplest of questions,
But hardest to answer,
An answer the world seems to censor.

Confused to who I am, I typically just live life day by day. There is no set answer for who I am. I do not know for I am also so young.
