You always know what to say. 

Even when my emotions seem far away. 

You put the burdens of others upon yourself. 

Leaving your own problems on the shelf. 

As a student, hard working and overachiever describe you well, 

At least as far as I can tell. 

I can see you get overwhelmed from everything, 

Yet you still come back with a swing.

Your home life can be less than perfect,

But everyone’s family faces conflict.

Even with all of this stress on your shoulders, 

You help everyone around you overcome their boulders.

You never give up on your friends, 

And that is why this story transcends. 

Thank you for everything that you do. 

I do not know how I would make it without you. 

You are my best friend. 

Thank you for sticking with me even when it feels like the end.
