You stabbed me with pain
Sudden, cruel, merciless
No regard to who I was
For moments too long
You gripped me with grief
Hands wrestling with hope
That last flicker
Not yet extinguished
Holding on stubbornly
Anguished beast
Your mistake is my uprising
Put me out only to find you failed
For every cut you leave
Every demon I see
Is the fuel that ever ignites me
Run, dark creature
Every drop of blood bled is gasoline
You just fanned the flames
