Time slowly crawls,
As the seconds tick by,
The anticipation building;
The hour drawing near.

We wait in silence,
As our Judgment Day nears,
With our sins laid bare,
For the world to see.

We stand before you,
Naked and exposed,
As you judge our souls,
While the minutes tick by.

We make our arguments,
And tell our stories,
But you don’t care;
Your faces remain blank.

As the hours tick by,
Our bodies crumble,
And our hope dies,
As you stare in cold silence.

Your inattention,
To our plight,
Kills our spirits,
And leaves us raw.

As the hours tick by,
Your decision unmade,
We crumble beneath,
Your cold, blank stare.

Finally you speak,
Your words echoing,
Through the Halls of Time,
But we do not hear.

For we are gone,
Dispersed in the wind.
Our ashes strewn,
To the corners of the Earth.


Your judgment falls,
On the deafest of ears,
For our time is up.
As eternity ticks by…
