A World of Fire

A second sun rises
A creation of man’s design
A creation he despises
Constricting his him like a vine
The fire vomits putrid smoke
It fills the lungs and makes you choke
The fire burns as our only light
Keeping us free from a permanent night
We saw it coming
We saw the signs
But since no one cared to take the blame
We shall all be swallowed a by flame
Though you do not have to meet our fate
Take action before it is too late
For if you do not take care of your planet blue
It will not take care of you

I wrote this piece to raise awareness about the environment. If we don't do anything then the generation after us may not even get to exist. If you want to help, the best thing you can do is to donate to a credible charity and work towards decreasing your carbon footprint.
