Night Terrors
Eyes torn apart,
The rabbit hole that reaches out ceaselessly.
The ivory flesh of my wildest and most evil nightmares,
Under the dead eyed sun blooms like the beach apple.
A endless hallway with no walls, and no stairway from it
Unfolds forever before me.
I lay supine, screaming silently,
A static prison of shattered mirrors within window sills.
My frame shakes at its very fibers, as I claw at the ceiling
Seeking to rize from this watery tomb--
Seeking to find some fleeting floatation in this black sinking sea.
A beast shot in its lung, drowning in its own red life from inside of itself, I scurry away-- the Desperate gnashing rubey eyed animal; just behind me:
The murderous eater of skins.
