I know you’ve felt that feeling. That feeling that's holding back all of what they call your “unwanted ,unnecessary “tears.

You have.

That feeling that strikes you in the middle of a great day, that knocks out all of your positivity. To some it may seem like nothing so you wear a mask.

You pretend it's not there so you continue to laugh and smile, hoping that no one sees past your fake wall of feelings.

It's only in the empty bathroom stall that you let your tears run down your face, when no one is watching or listening to you hyperventilate .This is the only time when your true colors can show.

It’s only when a shy quiet voice calls out “Are you ok?’’

That you hold your breath for a long minute until you hear the fading footsteps echo down the hall and you let out a shaky breath.

No one can know it’s you.

No one can know it’s you crying in the bathroom stall.

No one wants to know that it’s their friend who laughs at their jokes not because she wants to but because she has to.

No one will know because by the time you walk out of that bathroom a smile will be molded onto your face ,laughs will be forced ,and tears will be dried.
