Soaring over the choppy, vibrant blue water, an abstract painting Van Gogh would have painted, is a scene never to be forgotten. The wind whips around, causing hair to fly and laughs to erupt. The boat slams from side to side, one wave to the next. Water sprays onto the face, causing a refreshing glow. Lake Minocqua has a beauty only the sharpest eye can see.

The boat rocks, splashing to a stop. Fishing poles emerge, while kids submerge into the water. The clicks of cameras and young ones playing fill the lake. The smells of lake water flush the nose as the sun beams down with marvelous light. 

Trees whistle as the soft breeze flows, creating ripples in the mellow water. The fish glides ever so gracefully through, whilst the snappers come to the surface for a quick look. Breathing in the air is a new sensation, feeling connected with the natural treasure underneath. 

As quick as the irresistible sight came into view, it left. I look around as the shore comes into sight. Small children being carried by parents, eager dogs ready to go home, this is something only seen in a dream. As we walk back to the camper, I take one, long look at the scene before me. The vibrant water, has now turned into a rich, royal, blue. The waves come to a calm stop, whispering and waiting for the next adventure.
