Name Assignment
In Welsh my name means great or large. Of which I am both. I am Trevor to everyone regardless of how long I have known them. In Irish my name means ambitious. Everyone has a drive inside of them to do great things. There should be more people named Trevor.
Trevor is best represented by orange. Orange like the fruit that all grocery stores sell right next to the apples—the round, bumpy delicious fruit. Just like the hot, raging fire that burns always inside us driving us to do great things. Fire that cooks our meals and keeps us going every day. I want to succeed in life just as I should.
My parents wanted a name to fit the family theme. Every boy in my family’s name starts with a T. I now join Tom my Grandpa, Tom my Dad, Tim my uncle, Tyler my older brother, and my brother Troy. I hope that this will continue. It makes naming kids easier. It also is something for people to remember us for.
Trevor has 6 letters in the name. A perfect balance. Like a 1999 toyota corolla with a body piece that is red but is supposed to be grey. It would work but not feel right. Like how there are 6 bagels in one bag. It is perfect the way it is and no other name would fit.
Anyone named Trevor is a very fun person. The best friend. We have a very close group of friends that hang out often. They know when to be serious and when it does not matter how you act. The perfect balance I could not think of a better name to fit me and my needs, it is easy to say and spell. There is rarely ever more than one Trevor in a class because of scarcity. Even if I could choose any other name I would probably just stay with Trevor.
