Darkness
Imagine a house
swarmed with darkness.
You have only a candle
flickering
as if it will die out
any second.
Now imagine:
your only source of light
suffocates.
All that is left is an abyss
Now picture a ghost-
A force of malicious intent
radiating
craving to engulf you in chaos
and kill you for its own.
Shadows,
latching onto your thoughts;
suffocating you,
twisting you,
until every part of you
breaks.
Warmth is like smoke:
it fills the room
but disappears
just as quickly,
as though it were never there.
All you will feel is cold
seeping into you,
freezing your heart
into ice,
crystallizing all that was light
into night.
Everything
came from darkness.
To darkness,
It will return.
