Attack
My chest begins to tighten
Muscles cramp up in my neck
Did I do and say that
Oh my god, what the heck
Why am I so weird
I guess I’ll never know the answer
Questionable situations are
My anxiety enhancer
They aren’t illegal or immoral
Just random things I do
Like when someone asks how are you
And I respond “You too”
I know that cringey moments
Aren’t exclusive just to me
It’s just the way it goes
It’s just the way it be
I’ve been carrying these memories
In my metaphorical backpack
If I don’t let them go soon
I’ll have a heart attack
