I stood on my porch... the green chipped paint scratched at my feet.

The rotting wood of the rundown apartment held the rain back.

I watched the flooded street like one big mirror, reflecting the black sky.

Suddenly blurred... by one drop

another...

another...

and another...

Many began to fall. The chill of the cold front calmed me,

and natures natural music pleased my ears.

The many light clashes of water.

A light crawled the darken sky and

illuminated every drop into a shining diamond.

It faded...

“BOOM!”

natures light: lightning

natures base:thunder

I sat criss cross, watching the event.

To some it was scary

To some it was work

To me and others alike it was peaceful

The melody...

The light of the array...

the cold feeling...

the sensation that swelled only chess

Deep...

“peace,”

and in that instant

a sky purple

a bass that shook

my world...

silence

peace...

I like the way you wrote it, very unoriginal. Good job!

Keep writing!
