My Epoch
Puerile, I wander out
faces dissipate upon my exit.
A sun-bleached vista - palimpsest about
precedent to turn adjacent.
There between the walkway ridge I see
a sequestered outcast effigy.
A cherub flora, with jade harp strings,
atop the fauna are lambs it brings.
Carried by faeries, the pearls of thee.
Hallowed by Helios, a blissful scene.
Entranced by Gaia's entropy;
the clouds secede in summer breeze,
I contract this sight a prime marquis,
To form my cardinal memory.
Bound to me - this respite of peace.
Ephemeral - the sylphs I see.
