You're getting old

You’re getting old.

By the age fourteen you were already thinking about popularity,

The only hardest decisions you made was choosing where to sit at lunch.

But by the age seventeen you were more focus on your rights,

The news and politics.

By the age twenty-four you got your degree in whatever you study and  poem

you’re still trying to figure out what to do with your life.

You’re in your mid thirties the big old thirty-six.

Still trying to figure out how your generations was going to be the biggest and “Smartest” because you’re still working in cubicle that can only fit you and your chair.

Buying myself a motorcycle is what you call a midlife crisis?

Well then sue me.

Sorry I want my hair to blow in the wind as i ride on the california hills by the Hollywood Sign.

I'm already sixty-three trying to finish my bucket list

What? Go bungee jumping? Younger me would be saying “Heck Yeah!”

Older me is saying “What about my back?!”

Happy seventy-one  to Me!

Pamphlets for a nursing home were my birthday present?

I guess I really am getting old.c

I think everyone feels like there life "flashes" before their eyes and the years are going by too quick, I think my poem is very stereotypical! but at the same time when you're reading this everyone should keep in the back of their head to live at little don't let time go by to fast :)
