I Have A Chance
Good Day, Last Day
This shall be my time.
To speak, for I’ve never gotten the chance.
Let me tell you all the stories that have built up.
Before I go, let me speak up.
I’ll talk about all the times I felt loneliness or fear.
Just listen to all the words I’ve been meaning to tell you.
Don’t worry it won’t waste your time.
For my words are important.
And they just need a listener.
One I’ve never had before.
Give me more time.
I wasted away all the chances I had to speak.
Except this one, with the time I have left I shall speak.
For all the times I didn’t have a chance.
For all the times I didn’t take my chance.
For all the times I gave my chance away.
The minutes I have left are precious.
They will soon be gone.
And so will I.
Thus with a kiss I die.
