The Manatee
I am the manatee
The mighty cow of the sea
In all my saggy glory
I flap my flippers
With my manatee mates
Sailors traveling vast seas
Mistaken for a naked matron
Laying flat out on the beach
I guess they like their women
With a bit of extra meat
Though I have no natural predators
I’m vulnerable to all that dwells
I am at risk of extinction
By the human affliction
Oh the hue-manatee, Oh so few manatee
I have a heart that is very tender
I am loved for all my splendor
So happy that I can write a ballad
I still gain poundage
Despite eating nothing but salad
My crown and cheeks might amuse,
But harsh words would abuse
So, man don’t tease or use profanity
For I am a virgin eared manatee
A gentle giant of the seas
I am the mighty manatee.

Was inspired by the Geico commercial with the manatees with novelty tees.
