Sing In Me
Sing in me Muse and through me tell the story
the tale of a strong-minded teen prohibited to her license
by her strict yet wise guardians.
Trapped in a prison of childhood surounded by her father's protection
adulthood calls her from beyond.
The agony of waiting strains her patience
but the guard of adulthood refuses to budge.
"Find a job, begin making money, then you shall see a permit".
Both orders accomplished, yet still unpermitted.
Tell through me Muse of the frustration
and hopelessness for no actions has filled the expectations.
Oh, how biased!
Sixteen years and four months
oh how long shall she wait?
What more must she do?
