Weight on her Shoulders
Sing in me muse and tell me the story of a young girl, with feelings lasting for miles if others hear yells, you hear whispers
wind blowing, and sun shining in beautiful san diego
teammates are sprinting, enduring the heat, and pain
you feel useless, until the ball finally comes
you save the first ball
and the second ball
but then the third comes, along with all the players
they look like a swarm of bees coming after you
it's almost like instead of soccer its pinball
the ball rickashing off every player
One person doing their best not to let the ball through
and the third ball goes in, and you lose
and you feel the weight of the loss on your shoulders only
Sing in me muse others say words you need to hear but choose not to listen
it's my fault you say
it's my fault you say
