Sinful Heroes
A gunshot is heard
The buildings are collapsing
Smoke and fire cover the ground
People run for their lives and for the lives of those lost
Others stop running as their chest are shredded by shrapnel and bullets
Some hide from their attackers from the east
Few are left standing
The noise from their boots as they march towards the capital is like the sounds of an earthquake
Screams from those who try to flee
Crying and begging from those too weak to fight
Innocent lives are here
They did nothing but to live
But they do not care
They attack and kill anyone in sight
They burn the houses and take the food of those who wanted a good life
They have sinned but they will still be remembered as the heroes
In one moment everything falls silent
They raise their flag and climb over the rubble of the once powerful empire
Our flag falls and burns in the rubble
A new era has begun
`
An era of fear and luck
Of smart people and stupid decisions
One where the world is split in two
And one where the world had gone mad
Where one choice could have ended it all
And where the innocent will be the pawns for those who play a game of chess
But they will still be remembered as the heroes
