Dear Violin
Dear Violin,
You are my a passion.
A dream, a feeling like no other.
An image
of love and emotion.
A spitting image
of the crowd going crazy
as I take my first stroke.
Hearing the sound flow through the crowd,
feeling every beat and breathe.
Your my love so deep.
Your a mirror of myself
my great pride.
I practice through the hours of rehearsal
to the long onerous competitions.
But to only end up on top.
Having your hard work
pay off in the end.
Knowing that after that last stroke,
the last eagerly stroke,
you made my dream come true.
My passion.
My passion of traveling the world
doing what I love.
Being able to play for the highest
of the high.
Being apart of something
so incredible.
College-Conservatory of Music
is the college of my dreams.
One of the biggest music programs
in the country.
To be able to play for the most
talented musicians in country,
that would be an honor.
Throughout the years I have been playing
you have taught me a very important lessons:
Hard work and patients
pay off.
Appreciation violin and its music,
truly knowing how to play a piece
is one thing that will take hard work
and dedication.
It is like a rock science of technical performance.
Thank you,
Your forever friend
