A Love Story with Lucifer

Your eyes had me mesmerized
Your words had me trapped
It was if you had put a spell
A spell that had me be
All about YOU.
You had that luciferous charm
Like all the other angels
I had thought you were
the most beautiful of all
Like God you were my favorite
You had told me many lies
But out of all of them, the biggest ones
Were “I love you” “I care”.
You never loved nor cared
because you only loved YOU
This
Was
Our
Love.

While writing this poem, I was in a place where I lost myself loving someone else. I felt as if he actually really loved me but he only cared about him. This poem is one of the few poems that I put my heart into.
