A Letter To My Future Partner
To my future partner,
I’m not as quiet as I seem
I demand when I say “please”
Because my voice might be soft
But my words
They can reach a thousand miles beyond me
Dear future partner,
I am not the best at comfort
But you can confide in me when you feel under
And I will try my best
Because I am stubborn
So be careful when you have a different opinion
Because I’ll always be there to send it spinning
But even if I seem like I’m biased
I’m always listening to your crisis
Because we’re stuck in this crazy world together
And we are each other’s tether through the bad weather
