Stance
You call me names,
 You ridicule my clothes
 You roll your eyes
 Yet, still I stand

 You cast me out,
 You belittle me,
 You mock my actions,
 Yet, still I stand

If I said, it didn’t hurt,
 It would be a lie,

If I said, it didn’t matter,
That too would be a lie

 But, whatever you do,
 How hard you try
To tear me down and smash my pride
 Still, I will stand

 Nothing you say,
 Nothing you do,
 Will ever convince me
 To give into you

 I am a human,
 I have worth
So make note of this one thing,
 I will always stand
