I’m more appreciative of myself
Including all my flaws and shortcomings
I won’t let history repeat itself
Let it come to me, and I’ll be running
In order to love someone I have to love myself
That is my newfound philosophy
That’s why I started working on myself
In order to find my grandiosity
I always welcome my true nature
I express it and live with it
It’s a great feeling when I’m not a stranger
I know myself and now there’s no quitting
I’m slowly gaining my confidence back
You should try it too, you’ll be at your max

Lizzett Tapia is an 18-year-old senior from the city of Dallas, Texas. In the fall of 2019, Lizzett Tapia plans on attending Texas A&M University. She plans on majoring in Applied Mathematics. Whenever she’s not busy doing Calculus homework or studying for exams, Ms. Tapia enjoys going out with her friends and family. Ms. Tapia enjoys both summer and winter break because she gets to go to Mexico with all of her family members.
