The sky was like honey
Dripping down the Pacific Ocean
It’s golden flecks brought heartfelt emotions
The waves crashed in slow motion
The ocean takes me back
Closed eyes and hoping for a hello
Laid down and soaking up the memories
The laughs, the touch, and the goodbyes
The ocean takes me back
His loss of words and false apology
I was drowning, under this ocean
Drifting with the saltiness I call lies
