As the luminous glow of the sun burns out,

and the subtle glow of the moon peaks the horizon.

A city, home to strangers.

who lusts for the precious time of,

Midnight.

Vibrating with a different type of energy,

the midnight city begins to howl.

the strangers of the night take over the lively city,

rampaging the streets, and filling every block.

The strangers of the night roam the city without purpose,            

without reason, and without conscience.

The sounds of the city is oddly comforting;

while the city lights are comfortably numbing,

amongst the midnight city.
