The Girl Who Could Fly
Sing in me Muse
And through me tell the story
Of the girl who could fly
She was graceful and strong
Others wanted to join her
But they couldn’t
They lacked the strength
They tried and tried
But each time they failed
Muse tell the tale for me
How she flew
All alone
Others beneath her
Keeping her safe in case of a fall
Her safety net and her stool
Holding her up
Pushing her higher
Until she floated down
As gracefully as she had flown
