Nature
The shape of the past fits inside the keyhole of a doorknob,
unlocking a new chapter.
At the top of tomorrow waits a bright yellow sun,
filled with the sound of birds chirping.
The hiding place of rain shivers underneath the soil with worms and soon-to-be trees.
At the edge of silver soars an eagle through the bright,
blue sky.
A howl tastes like the air on a rainy day--damp and cold,
chilling me.
If you look underneath peace,
you might hear the cries of hopeless angels above.
But If you turn hope on high,
you’ll see a burst of bright colors,
a rainbow.
