Sswim
Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story
Of the overworked youth of water exercise.
Who commute through the enemy lands
From Atascadero to Paso,
Just to acquire the hole of water for practices.
Tell the story, through me, of the clanky tin transporter
Riding down the weary road.
Of time-consuming nights
When stars twinkle above,
While water clouds the weary team’s vision.
Sing of well understanding leaders,
As they help the team.
Giving covidence avast the sea of doubt.
These proud leaders, lose hours of the day.
Exclaiming to the team,
Ensuring them a sweet, sweet victory.
Sing to me, of these strong-hearted people,
Braving the commitment and challenges,
The learning place thrust upon them, willingly.

I wrote this about my swim practice, and team. I wrote it sort of funny, and about how or sseason sucked, because we don't have a pool to swim in.
