I Miss the Old Me
I miss the old me,
The one who could go outside and enjoy the birds,
The one who could talk to people,
Now I'm the one who is scared to just talk.
I miss the old me,
The one who had no fear and had ideas to make,
The one who had dreams to succeed,
Now I get shut down for anything that I make.
I miss the old me,
The one kid who wanted to lead and strive for his work,
To be proud and wanted to be smart,
Now I'm nothing and can't even make anything without being just ok.
I miss the old me,
The one who is not me,
The lost and never found,
The forgotten and never forgave.
I miss the old me,
The one who is destroyed, defiled, degraded
The one who will never come back,
The who will forever be lost.
