What I Know
I know this it is difficult to be a girl
it always was
it always will be
I know this because I can’t be just friends with a guy
because I make 9.3% less than my coworkers
because if I wear a skirt I'm practically asking for it
I know this I define what I am
I think every girl wants self-definition
I think every girl deserves it
(It is our loss)
We need to listen to woman
We need to hear their voices
We need to respect their boundries
of themselves
I know who i am
I know what i want
I know what i need.
We need a new role in society
We need respect... we deserve respect.
We owe it to ourselves to re-create society.
And find a solution
Paint me independent Paint me fair Paint me Aloura
I am a woman.
