i loved you from the start.
the way you gave me that smile.
not the fake kind, but real.
not fake like the movies, but real like the books.
sure they're both fiction.
but you made them seem real.
with your sandy brown hair.
and your nice blue eyes.
you made life itself feel real to me again.
i no longer felt pain.
or anger.
or depression.
i felt love.
and this feeling i felt.
this feeling i knew was real..
stayed with me forever.
even though you didn't.
