Early Childhood - I Remember
I remember when my family was everything I had and wanted
I remember making huge snow forts
I remember making making french toast when it got too cold
And I can always remember how genuinely happy we were
I remember waking up super early on christmas to discover what Santa had left that year
I remember my huge birthday parties in the field beside our home
I remember the slip and slides we would set up at those parties
Even though I hated how the grass stuck to my sunburnt legs
I remember how I hated going to sleep because I couldn't wait to start the next day
But my favorite memories yet to come
