PHANTOM SOULS

I see humans but no humanity,
I find nature yet no serenity.
I see masks on every face,
I find oceans but no grace.
I see truths but there are tears,
I find lies but no fears.
so where did the love go?
and where's the hope lost?
where is the happiness,
and what's the smile's cost?
maybe we've made everything so fake,
our hearts no more ache
so maybe we need a break
from this man-made world
where everything's so blurred
and not a twitter to be heard...
