Dark things you can’t see
Hidden monsters under bed
And shadows dancing
Covers over head
Night lights blanketing the dark
Things seeming to change
Small child’s frightened cry
Brings parents to their child’s room
Clamming their worry
Mother’s soothing voice
Light wards off the creepy dark
World is now calm
