Aphrodite's Heir
Dazzling pearly whites; Aphrodite’s heir
With sultry lips, and olive speckled skin;
Radiance unveils core, baring heart’s flare.
Stunning dark eyes, silky sweet chestnut hair.
Furry feline fancy brands us akin.
Dazzling pearly whites; Aphrodite’s heir.
Busy as a bee, blossoming she’s bare,
Harry Potter star, magic did begin.
Radiance unveils core, baring heart’s flare.
Beliefs her wings, through crusading she cares;
Angel’s heart, leading women’s rights herein.
Dazzling pearly whites; Aphrodite’s heir.
Shamefully swank, scholastically aware;
Fields of dreams, success we persist in.
Radiance unveils core, baring heart’s flare.
Devotion and zeal; dove at heart so rare.
Match made in heaven, my wholesome soul twin.
Dazzling pearly whites; Aphrodite’s heir,
Radiance unveils core, baring heart’s flare.

This Villanelle poem is inspired by Emma Watson, a beautiful actress and activist. I wrote it for my eighth grade Dramatic Writing class. I hope you enjoy it.
