Endless Love
She walks ahead and leads the way,
To keep me safe throughout the day.
Listening to the words I say
She’s here to help, here to stay.
She waits behind to catch my falls,
Picking me up, helping with all.
I stumble, struggle, reach pitfalls,
But she follows, tears down my walls.
She stands beside me, my best friend,
And puts my selfish moods to end.
Thoughts, only she can comprehend,
Like secret messages I send.
I reflect on my memories.
Each one flying by like a breeze.
I learned from her my ABC’s,
And to cope with my fear of bees.
My blind child wrongness I now see,
I’ll work on putting it on freeze.
Yet, no matter the rocky seas,
My mother’s love will never flee.
