untitled doc
Dear Erika,
When you read this I hope you’re not in the ground
Not in that six feet under place where you envision yourself time and time again
Erika
You are a wilted flower people are so desperately trying to bring back to life
People care about you
They say you can’t eat the fruit that day you plant the seed
You have just planted the seed
You are an oak tree
Standing tall through all things
But oak trees take time to grow
You take time to grow
You will grow
So please don’t kill yourself
There are too many sunsets to see
Butterflies to follow
Warmth to feel
Please don’t kill yourself
This is the only time when being afraid is a good thing
Living is a good thing
Stop being afraid of living
I have such big plans for you
Dreams only you can fill
In this life
there is a void only you are worthy of and if your not here
It is just a void
The same darkness you’re oh so familiar with
The same one that grabs you and takes you to that place of sorrow
But
I know you won’t kill yourself
So lend me your hand
for I’ll lift you out of your mind
Away from that place
But you must hear me
Hear me call you
Hear me scream your name
I am here
I will never leave you
I am you
But you have to trust me
I’ll take you to that place that you dream
The one above ground
The one where you prosper
The one where you’re finally okay
But you have to trust me
Sincerely,
the version of you that you cannot hear
