A Midnight Run

Blue lights flash and flicker,
I run but soon wish I was quicker.
The lights behind grow so fast,
As if I had mirrors on my a**.
Quickly I dive in a prickly bush,
Then take a deep inhale of this skunky smelling kush.
Branches scrape and score,
As I disappear along the midnight shore.
