Worthy
If I could change one thing
I’d fix what’s deep inside
The darkness and the sadness
We try our best to hide
I’d pull in all my loved ones
And shower them in light
I’d defeat the darkness
In a swift and unfair fight
I’d search in all the corners
For those drowning in the pain
I’d search for them in gutters
In both the sunshine and the rain
I’d show them that they’re beautiful
That they matter to the Earth
I’d open up their eyes to truth
And show them what they’re worth
I’d do all of this and more
To avoid the suffering and the strife
That happens when a human being
Decides to take their life
