My Generation
This generation has become truly reckless.
They value objects more than people.
Instead of playing outside with friends.
They find places to party and let loose.
They value fame more than love.
Self image is more important than friendships.
They have no compassion for each other
anymore.
They sit and videotape
Instead of getting up to lend a hand.
They’re too numb to even notice
How heartless we have all become.
As they grow older, they start to lose themselves.
They’ve lost the innocence they had sparkling in their smile.
Those parents worry because those lovely smiles,
Those lovely smiles they raised have faded.

More and more people in this generation start distancing themselves to reality, and act as if kindness doesn’t apply to them.
