Hello, Goodbye
You walked this long road with me and helped to keep me strong, I blink back the tears, I can’t believe you’re really gone.
My heart is full of sadness and a longing to forget, all our memories are burning inside my lonely chest.
We talked and our hearts would flutter our minds not thinking straight, our kiss was soft as a feather but carried a heavy weight.
Our adventures won’t be forgotten they are etched within my heart, all our ups and downs and backwards are making me wish to restart.
Although my heart is aching and my strength is growing thin, I must admit to our ending for me to begin again.
Even though you’re still alive, it feels like you are gone, I can’t believe I lost the one that once made me so strong.
And yes I’ll always love you, but letting go's what I must do, I hope you know I still care and I don’t regret meeting you.

Sometimes in life, you meet people who you think you are going to spend the rest of your life with. You fall deeply in love with them and feel like nothing can break you two apart. You feel invincible. When in reality, that is rarely the case. The pharse, "Love is blind" is a real thing. When you fall in love with someone, sometimes you over look some qualities that may not be beneficial to you and your heart. You are "blind" to the negative about them when you are crazy about them and sometimes the only way you see it is when they completely break your heart. After that happens, you can realize the parts of them that did not fit with you and the parts that you did not like. I believe that all relationships prepare you for when you will meet your forever person. All the ups and downs prepare our hearts to love the right person. You can't appreciate the good until you've experienced the bad.
